No one is buying anything from my shop. I have looked at it every which way to try and make it cheaper for everyone. However, with the cost of supplies and shipping the way they are, I cannot lower the prices. My shop was created so that I could do something I love, earn an extra couple of bucks and give something to someone to make them happy. The money was/is going to be used to expand my shop and to help me get pet rats.

I have extreme depression, and it has been proven (for me) that animals help with my depression. My doctor told me I need to have a pet. My mom is willing to help me, and I’ll most likely get them for my birthday. However, I don’t want her to pay for everything. It has also been proven that baking and crafting help me a lot as well, but again, the whole money issue.

Aside from that, I DO want to add more things to my shop. I want to add candles, and jewelry, herbs, and so much more. But I can’t do that until I have money. I hate asking people for money, but I don’t have a choice. Finding a job where I live is like finding a needle in a haystack, while fifty other people are looking for that same needle. And even when I have gotten interviews, I don’t have the “experience” to work there. It sucks. Big time.

So I decided to create a donation button directly on my blog, and on my shop. No, the donations don’t go to some big charity or cause. It does go directly to me in helping me with my depression, while expanding my shop. Any amount will help, and I hope you will help.

The reason I opened this shop was because so many people were so excited and thought it was a great idea. Well. For it being such a great idea, I haven’t had any customers. At all. It sucks, and I am trying to be patient and I do know money is tight with a lot of people. Tumblr is my only form of advertising, and I know a lot of younger people are on this site. I decided that if I still haven’t sold at least five books by next Saturday, I am closing my shop. With donations, I may open it up again while adding new things and taking down the customizable BOS.

I could really use your help, and I know it’s not saving puppies, or finding a cure for cancer. All I am asking is if you can spare some money to help me out with my shop, I will be forever grateful. I might sort out a system where if you donate a certain amount of money, you’ll get something. But right now, all I can offer is if you donate money to me, I will promo you and place your blog on my favorite blogs page. You would just message me your name and I’d add you.
